NOW DREAM A NEW HOME |
 |
Hey browser:
As you'll know if you've seen, held, coveted or cherished our new flyer, we're about to make our debut in a new venue for Summer 2008. Here's the flyer text, in case you haven't - extra info below...
NOW DREAM FOR A NEW HOME
This Summer, It Came From The Sea doubles yr dosage with a split-level set-up offering an experimental social club above, and a brutally fun dancefloor below. Notable eccentrics who haunt the edges are advised to move between the two, evolution-regression style…
UPSTAIRS: Have actual human conversations with the other homemade superstars in attendance, filmically soundtracked by custom-made mixtapes of all the new music too irregular to dance to. Meanwhile, original art will be projected directly into yr subconscious (via projector) and there’ll be edifying reading matter on every table.
DOWNSTAIRS: Eerie smoke, dreamy lights and terror-inducing volume designed to turn bohemians into cavepeople. Drinks offers shall be made available to help you adapt to life in the depths, while subliminal messages (LED screen) and sugar rushes (table treats) perfect the chaos on Brighton’s most unpredictable dancefloor.
...there'll be a couple more announcements before the relaunch. In the meanwhile, check our music page for recent sets, wander wide-eyed through the most recent slideshow (more artists on their way, yay) and prep yr receptors for another downloadable nik/kick freemix coming soon.

| 5th MAY |
BYE KOMEDIA |
 |
Hey Voyager:
This Friday - 9th May - marks the latest landmark in the ICFTHS story as we bid a fond, loud, confusing farewell to our most recent dream palace. As always, we plan on making it extra-extra-special. It's time to put the 'moving' back in 'fastest-moving dancefloor in Brighton'.
Message us for cheeeeaplist and let's get everything started.
Plz note that this will be not only the last ICFTHS at Komedia, but also the *only* show until we strike again from our excitingly secret new HQ in July. Use yr month off to heal.
The abundant gimmicks and maverick music policy remain: New music only - next wave indie, neurotic dance music and hip-hop futurism.
Likewise, dogbowls full o'sweets, an LED sign offering topics of conversation, smoke, lights, original art somewhere over the dancefloor and, best, notable eccentrics like yrself. |
